Pocket Sacred Space Workshop

Through simple, accessible methods for any art skill level, workshop participants will create tiny boxes full of symbols that might inspire their courage and resilience in a difficult moment. Supplies are taken mainly from the recycle bin, and participants are encouraged to bring any meaningful symbols/objects/words found in magazines/pictures/print. All faiths/non-faiths are respected.

[10-30 minutes, $7 per participant]

Altered Books for Inner Resilience Workshop

Through simple, accessible methods for any art skill level, workshop participants will look inside and create meaningful book pages as they learn the altered book art form. Creating art individually and as a group can break barriers and support resilience. Supplies are taken mainly from the recycle bin, and participants are encouraged to bring any meaningful symbols/objects/words found in magazines/pictures/print.

[60-120 minutes, $30-45 per participant]

Art as an Antidote: A4 Drop-In

Calm, creative environment where participants can experience the present moment and its joy. Play, expression, and agency are priority. Courage, patience and imperfection will be encouraged. Simple, accessible art methods for any skill level.

Professional Development Seminars/Workshops

Through simple, accessible methods for any art skill level, workshop participants will reach inside and toward each other as a playful practice of courage. Creating art individually and as a group can break barriers and support resilience. Groups can decide to create both individual or collaborative work, using the contemporary art form of assemblage. Supplies are taken mainly from the recycle bin, and participants are encouraged to bring any meaningful symbols/objects/words found in magazines/pictures/print.
